This follows the format of a pathfinder class archetype/alternate class feature. It can pretty easily be applied as a 3.5 ACF, although it would then be a minor buff since 3.5 bards don't get Well Versed or Jack of all Trades.

Wild Talent: Bardic Archetype
The Wild Talent is a bard who never went to a bardic college or bothered apprenticing with other performers. They simply have natural talent with music.

Class Skills
Wild Talents may select druid spells as known spells and cast them as arcane spells, using music in place of a divine focus where necessary.
They gain Climb, Fly, Handle Animal, Survival and Swim to their class skill list, but only the knowledge skills Nature and Arcana are class skills for a Naturalist. In addition, they only gan 4+int skills per level.

This modifies class skills and skills per level.

Armor and Weapon Proficiencies
Wild Talents are proficient with simple weapons, light armor and light shields, but they may not use armor or shields made of metal (as druids). Instead, gain the Weapon Finesse finesse feat, although they may only apply it to simple weapons even if they become proficient in other weapons through another class. This still counts as having the feat for meeting prerequisites.

This modifies Weapon and Armor proficiency.

Animal Companion
Gain an animal companion as a druid of your level. This is identical to the druid class feature.

This ability replaces bardic knowledge and lore master

Wild Empathy (SU)
Gain wild empathy as a druid.

This ability replaces Countersong

Woodland Stride (EX)
At 2nd level, the Wild Talent gains woodland stride as a druid.

This ability replaces Well Versed

Voice of the Wilds (SP)
At 10th level, the Wild Talent gains the ability to speak with animals, as the spell, at the cost of two rounds of bardic music. At 16th level, this improves so that it may also be used to Speak with Plants.

This ability replaces Jack of all Trades
