I am running a Caribbean Pirates game set in 1660, and I am looking for a high definition map of the area, covering all the Caribbean, Mexico Gulf coastlines and Venezuela coast.
It needs to be clean geographic map with high contrast between land and sea.

Google Maps map view would be perfect, except that it is apparently not possible to remove the labels and borderlines.

Anyone got any suggestions?

Something like this?
Hope the link works, my top hit for Google search "map carribean elevation" from wikimedia.

Kinda, but when I said ‘high definition’ I meant really, really, ultra super high definition, like 10k by 10k at least.

Actually, I did find a site http://www2.demis.nl/worldmap/mapper.asp that does something like that, have just to find a way to export a right sized map.

Now if there was a map that detailed sea depth from 0 to -100 meters, in 10 meter steps, that would be super.

What I need now is a list of all Caribbean settlements that existed in 17th century. Going from wiki article to article, checking exact locations and settling dates is slow going.

Sid Meier's Pirates? (it's something like 1% of the resolution you need) but might give a quick big picture)

Clicked to suggest this very thing. I can't remember the pixel scale, but it was accurate and well-researched.

Also, in general if you have a mapping need the people over at Cartographer's Guild (https://www.cartographersguild.com) have got you covered. I am sure someone there has created a map like you are wanting, though I haven't searched yet. They make custom maps for people, if you are willing to pay.
