well i know its early but the idea went through my head so i acted on it because it seemed funny.

ive put it here because i dont know wheres best to put it otherwise but ive devised an alternative '12 days of christmas' song as follows;

On the 12th day of christmas, A paladin gave to me,

12 Rangers Ranging,

11 Fighters Fighting,

10 Traped Doorways,

9 Tresure Chests,

8 Bards a-singing,

7 Dungeon Crawlers,

6 Sentiant Swords,

5 Dragon Hordes,

4 Great Cleaves,

3 Magic missiles,

2 Epic Wizards,

and a +5 Sword of Smiting.


what do people think, any advise on improvements and such like.

no insulting my song writing skills please, its my first travasty :smallbiggrin:

Hmmm Syalable count may want to be adjusted on Epic Wizards =/= Turtle Doves and also #3 Magic Missile =/= French Hens....what you replace it with totally your ideas....Stout Dwarves?

Not bad, but you might wanna adjust some of the names so that they fit the proper number of syllables from the words in the actual song.

Ex: the Third day requires something that's two syllables total: Magic Missles is four. Try,

And a blah blah balh...

Syllable count doesn't quite work, but hey, don't sweat it. Now write us a halloween song. We really don't have enough of those, and most of them are from A Nightmare Before Christmas.

I'd say the biggest syllable issue you have is 'a paladin' = 4, while 'my true love' = 3. Would work with cleric.
