The Presenter

PowerPoints are a crucial part of any psionic class, but few psionic characters master the use of this elusive program. A sad oversight -- for indeed, the humble PowerPoint presentation, properly harnessed, is a gateway to rarely-seen forms of psychic power.

CLASS FEATURES

Manifesting: At each level, your manifesting and PowerPoints per day advance as if you had taken a level in a psionic class you already belong to.

Clicker: When you take your first class level, your psicrystal permanently assumes the form of a chic PowerPoint remote that fits comfortably between your thumb and forefinger. To use it you must hold it in a free hand. While holding it, you can press it as a swift action.

Presentation: Each day, when meditating to regain your power points, you create your PowerPoint presentation for the day. The presentation is a sequence of slides. Each slide contains the esoteric glyphs of a psionic power you know or have prepared. You must put them in a specific order. You may include any number of slides, to a minimum of 3.
-
Once per encounter, you can press your clicker to begin your presentation. This brings up the first slide, which appears as a shimmering screen of magical energy floating behind you.
-
The first time you manifest a power while its slide is up, the power is automatically augmented with 2 free PowerPoints per class level. This is per-power, per-encounter.
-
Pressing your clicker brings up the next slide. Once you’ve reached the final slide, you can choose to conclude the presentation by pressing your clicker.

Thank You for Listening: Whenever you conclude your PowerPoint presentation, your audience is filled with sudden understanding. Allies within 60 feet of you gain a +5 insight bonus on all d20 rolls. However, this bonus only lasts 1 round, as your audience soon realizes the sense of insight they derived from your speech was totally superficial, and it glides out of their minds almost immediately.

Backclick: Starting at 2nd level, during your presentation, you can use your clicker to click to the previous slide instead of the next one. This obvious gaffe reduces the magical potency of the slide; as a result, a backclicked slide only grants you half the normal free PowerPoints. A power can benefit once from a backclicked slide even if it benefited from the slide originally.

Numb the Mind: Starting at 3rd level, when you conclude your presentation, enemy creatures within 60 feet of you must make a Will save (DC 10 + 2 * your class level + ½ your ML) or become exhausted.

Lame Joke: Starting at 4th level, your great psionic power allows you to “spice up” your presentation by telling a lame joke — a toothless canard hideously crafted to exert a wave of stilted laughter from the audience. Once each time you conduct your presentation, you can spend a standard action to create a hideous laughter effect, CL = ML.

Fonts and Colors: At 5th level, you discover the powerful secret of customizing your PowerPoint presentations with a heinous jumble of exotic fonts, bright colors, and even animations. Any creature who so much looks at your PowerPoint presentation must make a Will save (DC 10 + 2 * your class level + ½ your ML) or be blinded for 1 minute. A successful save renders them immune to this effect until you have a new presentation with new eyesores.

Speed Briefing: At 5th level, whenever you manifest a psionic power that is not currently on slide and augment it to full PowerPoints, you can advance your presentation by one slide.

Maybe someone else can think of a better way to pun on it, but it's something I can't help but think about whenever psionic characters come up lmao.

well joke is late by 2 months 14 days so I am not gonna rectify a bad joke by commenting further.

April Fool's would be a terrible holiday if it meant we had to be serious 364 days a year.

I regret that I didn't see this when it was posted. And aside from some minor issues of how the mechanics function, this is surprisingly well-balanced for a joke class, to the point where one could refluff it as some sort of psionic glyph cascade method.
