Another Mass Suggestion Question

Am I correct in assuming I can up cast Mass Suggestion to get up to 12 creatures to "move to Stepfjord and become the best monks they can" for up to a year.

Or whatever sounds as remotely reasonable as giving your warhourse or all your money away?

The spell has the line "The suggested course of action can continue for the entire duration. "

So I guess it can be a continual action as long as it isn't suicidal like digging a trench 24x7 without a break.

More or less. Whether any particular suggestion makes sense is up to the DM. However, for the suggestion to last for a year it has to be cast with a 9th level slot.

Suggestions are very open ended. Having a dozen people head off to study at a monastery for a year could be fine depending on how you word it.

"Your fighting skills are good but they could be so much better. Take your companions and study at the Monastery of the red feather for a year so you can learn to fight better. You will then be much more prepared to carry out your duties."

Fairly reasonable sounding suggestion on the surface of it.
