Two-Shield Defence [Fighter]
Prerequisites: BAB +6, Dex 17, Two-Weapon Fighting, Improved Shield Bash
Benefit: When wielding two shields as weapons, the shield bonus that each shield provides to your AC stack with each other. Shield bonuses to AC from other sources don't stack.
In addition, when fighting defensively or using the total defense option, your shield bonus to AC increases by 2.
Normal: When wielding two sheilds, their bonus to AC don't stack.
Multi-Shield Defence [Fighter]
Prerequisites: BAB +6, Dex 17, Multi-Weapon Fighting, Improved Shield Bash, three or more arms.
Benefit: When wielding two or more shields as weapons, the shield bonus that each shield provides to your AC stack with each other. Shield bonuses to AC from other sources don't stack.
In addition, when fighting defensively or using the total defense option, your shield bonus to AC increases by 1 for each shield.
Normal: When wielding two or more sheilds, their bonus to AC don't stack.
Towering Rear Defence [Fighter]
Prerequisites: BAB +6, Strength 13, Tower Shield Proficiency.
Benefits: You can attach a Tower Shield to your back, on top of light or medium armor, but not heavy armor. Its shield bonus to AC stacks with the shield bonus from any light or heavy shield you are wielding, but you cannot wield two tower shields in this manner. Such an arrangement also allows you to wield two weapons while still benefiting from a shield. The strain of carrying a large shield on your back shows. Its maximum dexterity bonus and armor check penalty still applies, and you take a -1 penalty on all attack rolls. You can't use a Tower shield equipped in this manner to gain cover, without first detaching it, which takes a standard action. Equipping a shield in this manner takes a full round action. Neither equipping or detaching a tower shield provokes an attack of opportunity.
When you fight defensively or take the total defense action, your shield bonus increases by 2.
