Things are tense in Pearlglen, so the rumors go. You find yourself at a roadblock and are asked to pay a toll. The guards are humans that you could easily destroy, but you sense they are not bandits, but actual community officials who have been out to this duty due to the recent disturbances.

Tavazosk is likewise no bandit, though he'd been wearing one's stolen likeness for the past couple days. He nods his understanding, addressing himself to the apparent leader.

"Of course, of course. What is the price to share company with your good people, and, if I may ask, to what end goes the visiting coinage?"

The disguised dragon's visage is a curious mixture of coarse and refined; a haggard appearance beneath fine clothing, with a sorry, dented, and overworn handaxe tucked into a well-made sash at his side. His delicately inoffensive speech gives the impression of consolement, as if comforting a bloodied animal as it heaves its last dying breaths.

Ellesya has spent much of the trip in silence, seemingly deep in thought. Her dark, all-consuming cloak is pulled up and the hood pulled forward, covering her completely as though she were hiding from the light of day.

She is pulled from within her own mind by the roadblock. She stands rigidly for a moment, head tilted back just enough to reveal a frown in the depths of her hood. As Tavazosk takes the lead, though, she settles a bit and her chest swells with a deep breath. She nods at her companion's question as she shuffles beneath her cloak, likely in search of coin on her person.

Actuous moved gracefully with his new companions, speaking little as they travelled unless questioned directly. The area was new to him and he... enjoyed?... the countryside for what it was. As they approached Pearlglen he was surprised by the lack of traffic on he road until the turned the bend to spy the roadblock. The group itself posed no serious threat to the group but the instincts instilled in still kicked in. Casually surveying the surroundings, he kept his gait the same. Nothing gained his attention so he kept moving with the others.
"You lads should find some shady while waiting for travellers. The sunlight is good but too much can wear one down." he said conversationally as he reached into his pouch, waiting for the guards to answer Tavazosk's question.

Hana stood a little more in the back her swords sheathed, but visible. Not that she was trying to be intimidating herself on purpose, as she yawned a little. For the moment, one of the others in the group had asked a question first and she was just going to wait on that.
