Greetings from europe!
I have lately been reading the web entries about the OA classes in the Forgotten Realms and that in turn inspired me to create Prestigious versions of the full casting base classes, in order to make the fluff a reality.
Further Context: http://archive.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/archfr/frcc

Wu jen are among the most likely classes to have members that originate from outside of Kara-Tur. The vast majority of wu jen learn their craft from a single mentor. The rejection of social stricture by many wu jen means that they are more willing to teach non-Eastern students than are members of other Eastern classes. There is even talk in a few major wizard colleges of studying the nature of the five elements system to see if there is validity to the method. Such discussions are currently occurring at Candlekeep and at wizard colleges in Waterdeep, Gheldaneth, Silverymoon, and even in Thay. The Thayans have seen the ease with which wu jen manipulate the energies of their spells and seek to learn the secret behind this facility.
Here now the first five level Prestigious Caster class, I created prior on Discord. More will follow.
Prestige Wu Jen
The prestige Wu Jen are arcane casters outside of Kara-Tur, who received training and guidance under the Wu Jen hailing from the eastern continent. Since all these prestige Wu Jen are already formidable arcanists on their own, their curiousity and thirst for knowledge, helps them to attain greater results in a much shorter time.
There are rumours, that Knights of the Weave and even Hexblades have started to attain the knowledge of the Wu Jen for their own. The red wizards of Thay however are not making any progress, because Wu Jen have grown weary of them. This includes Wu Jen of evil alignment, who rather sent the thayans on wild goose chases, instead to reveal any of their secrets to them.
Requirements:
Skills: Knowledge (Arcana) 8 ranks, Spellcraft 8 ranks
Spells: Able to cast 3rd-level arcane spells
Special: Cannot have levels in the Wu Jen base class.
Special: Must have been under the guidance and tutulage of a Wu Jen or Prestige Wu Jen.
Special: Cannot have levels in the Prestige Wizard class, unless your character advances into the 21st character level and Epic.

Class Skills
Concentration (Con), Craft (Int), Knowledge (all skills, taken individually) (Int), Profession (Wis), Spellcraft (Int)
Class Features:
Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Prestige Wu Jen gain no proficiency with any weapon or armor.
Spellcasting: At each level you gain new spells per day and an increase in caster level (and spells known, if applicable) as if you had also gained a level in an arcane spellcasting class to which you belonged before adding the prestige class level.
Exception: Arcane half-spellcasting classes like the Hexblade are advanced twice per prestige wu jen level.
You still do not, however, gain any other benefit a character of that class would have gained. If you had more than one arcane spellcasting class before becoming a prestige wu jen, you must decide to which class to add each level for the purpose of determining spells per day, caster level, and spells known.
Arcane Insight of Kara-Tur: Starting from the 1st level, you gain partial access to the Wu Jen Spell list and a spellbook, if you haven't already one. Wu Jen Spells you learn, must be learned like a Wu Jen , which require a intelligence score of 10 + the spell's level.
These spells are written down in your spellbook and exist seperately from your own arcane spellcasting class's spelllist, but still use your class' caster level and mental ability stat, for to determine DC, effectiveness, bonus spells per day and other effects as normal. You can learn a unlimited number of Wu Jen Spells, but are limited to the spell's spell levels by the amount of levels you have in this prestige class.
At level 1, you can learn all 0th and 1st level Wu Jen Spells.
At level 2, you can learn all 2nd and 3rd level Wu Jen Spells.
At level 3, you can learn all 4th and 5th level Wu Jen Spells.
At level 4, you can learn all 6th and 7th level Wu Jen Spells.
And at level 5, you can learn all 8th and 9th level Wu Jen Spells.
You can only prepare Wu Jen Spells on the Wu Jen Spell Slots granted by Expanded Spellcasting I.
In addition with each level in the Prestige Wu Jen class, choose two Wu Jen Spells from your spellbook, this spells are now treated as spells of your arcane spellcasting class and spelllist. If you are a primary spontanous arcane spellcaster, like a sorcerer, they become additional spells known.
You can also use now freely any wands, rods and similiar, which use Wu Jen spells.
Compatibility: The Prestige Wu Jen class is compatible with feats, class features, alternative class features, variants and substitution levels, which all refer to the base wu jen class. Instead to refer to the exact level a wu jen may take for substitution levels, variants and similiar, instead lose and gain the same, what the substitution levels, variants and similiar would have offered instead.
Comprehension of the Wu Jen: Starting from the 5th level, whenever you level up in a arcane casting class or prestige classes, which advances arcane spellcasting, choose two Wu Jen Spells from your spellbook. These spells are now treated as spells of your arcane spellcasting class and spelllist. If you are a primary spontanous arcane spellcaster, like a sorcerer or bard, they become additional spells known.
Bonus Feat: At 2nd level, a prestige wu jen gains a bonus metamagic feat of their choice.
Expanded Spellcasting I: Starting from the 1st level, you gain spellslots as a wu jen has access to (see Table 1—3 in Complete Arcane) based on the normal Caster Level for their spellcasting. Their normal CL equals a normal Wu Jen's Spells per day of the same level.
If a spellcasting class had no higher spell levels accessable prior taking levels in this prestige class, they have now equally 0 spells per day up to the highest Wu Jen Spellslots they have and now receive bonus spells per day, if they have a high score in their spellcasting stat (see Table 1—1: Ability Modifiers and Bonus Spells, page 8 of the Player's Handbook).
These bonus spells can be either used either for the primary spellslots or the secondary Wu Jen spellslots.
Feats, class features from other classes and similiar, like Practiced Caster, which raise CL, do not affect the spells per day progression.
For Example:
A Duskblade 9/Prestige Wu Jen 1 has a normal CL of 10. They gain a minimum of two 4th level slots and one 5th level slot of a 10th level Wu Jen.

Expanded Spellcasting II: Starting from 5th level, arcane half-casting classes like the hexblade, are now advanced fully from this point, instead by half (they still retain the half-casting progression from before taking levels in the prestige class).
For Example:
A Hexblade 11/Prestige Wu Jen 5/Hexblade +4 (15) has a natural CL of 14 (11 Hexblade levels equal CL 5, 5 Prestige Wu Jen class levels equals CL 5, 4 Hexblade levels by Expanded Spellcasting II equalls CL 4, together they equal CL 14), which gives the hexblade access to spellslots of a 14th level Wu Jen and 0 spells per day in the same spell levels a hexblade has normally no access to.

Elemental Mastery: The same as the Base Wu Jen's class feature. You gain it at 3rd level.
Spell Secret: The same as the Base Wu Jen's class feature, except for the following. You gain at each level one spell secret. You can postpone the selection for the spells up to the normal CL below.
* 1st Spell Secret: Cannot be postponed.
* 2nd Spell Secret: Can be postponed up to a normal CL of 9.
* 3rd Spell Secret: Can be postponed up to a normal CL of 12.
* 4th Spell Secret: Can be postponed up to a normal CL of 15.
* 5th Spell Secret: Can be postponed up to a normal CL of 18.
Taboos: The same as the Base Wu Jen's class feature, except for the following.
If a prestige wu jen violates one of her taboos, they cannot cast any more wu jen spells that day. In addition any spells modified by spell secret and elemental mastery lose their benefits for that day. They also lose the minimum spellslots and normal CL progression for half-casters by Expanded Spellcasting, until the next day.
They however do not lose access to the spellcasting granted by Arcane Insight of Kara-Tur, Comprehension of the Wu Jen, Expanded Spellcasting I and II, if for example a hexblade or similiar would lose their spellcasting, but continue to uphold the taboos.
Watchfull Spirit: The same as the Base Wu Jen's class feature. You gain it at the 1st level.
