Does anyone have a list of ways to progress class features without taking levels in the class? I'm primarily looking at this from the aspect of multiclassing, but things like Boon Companion for a mono-classed character with delayed companion progression would still apply. I'm not really looking for things like prestige classes that just progress all or part of the class you came from, such as the myriad full-casting prestige classes or Evangelist (https://aonprd.com/PrestigeClassesDisplay.aspx?ItemName=Evangelist).

Looking for things like:

Feat: Boon Companion (https://aonprd.com/FeatDisplay.aspx?ItemName=Boon%20Companion): Catch up on animal companion levels
Feat: Shapeshifting Hunter (https://www.aonprd.com/FeatDisplay.aspx?ItemName=Shapeshifting%20Hunter): Progress favored enemy and wild shape in parallel
Prestige class: Hellknight Signifer (https://aonprd.com/PrestigeClassesDisplay.aspx?ItemName=Hellknight%20 Signifer): Progress domains, mysteries, and blessings in parallel (with catechesis)
Trait: Magical Knack (https://aonprd.com/TraitDisplay.aspx?ItemName=Magical%20Knack): Catch up on caster levels

There are a lot of items that boost various class features to varying degrees (i.e. some do it entirely while some only do aspects of it):

Bane Baldric: +5 levels for bane/greater bane
Banner of Ancient Kings: +4 levels for inspire courage
Bracers of the Avenging Knight: +4 levels for smite evil damage
Bracers of the Merciful Knight: +4 levels for lay on hands
Champion's Banner: +4 levels for challenge
Dervish Sikke: +5 levels for bardic knowledge
Headband of Havoc: +4 levels for one rage power, chosen per rage
Monk's Robe: +5 levels for AC and unarmed damage for monks
Robes of Arcane Heritage: +4 levels for a sorcerer bloodline
Sash of the War Champion: +4 levels for armor training and bravery
Silver Smite Bracelet: +4 levels for smite evil
Three Reasons to Live: +6 levels for bardic performance
Vambraces of the Tactician: +2 levels for challenge
Thanks to this blog post (http://zenithgames.blogspot.com/2013/11/improving-your-class-with-items.html), which is where I sourced most of the items.

I'll note that I was initially looking at catechesis to progress mysteries alongside domains, but I'm trying to figure out if the story trappings of being a signifer would cause an issue. The option of going e.g. oracle 1 / cleric 5 / hellknight signifer 7 to have 1st-level oracle casting, 12th-level cleric casting, 8th-level oracle mystery abilities (likely taking Extra Revelation), and 12th-level domain abilities (plus a 7th-level curse, for better or for worse) allows for some cool combos.

If you include 3.5 content, bloodlines count towards all class features you have.

If you include 3.5 content, bloodlines count towards all class features you have. This would be Pathfinder only, probably first-party only.

Outside of that, bloodlines look pretty neat and I'm going to take a look at them irrespective of this thread's goals!

The best 3.5 featsare probably Master Spellthief and Swift Hunter

There is also the Prestigious Spellcaster (https://www.d20pfsrd.com/feats/general-feats/prestigious-spellcaster/)feat.

It lets you gain caster levels under limited circumstances, when you take a prestige class that grants some spellcasting but not enough spellcasting.

Arcane Trickster progresses Sneak Attack and Arcane Spellcasting

The Accomplished Sneak Attacker feat probably counts also?

Depending on which class feature you're trying to get, Variant Multiclassing (https://www.aonprd.com/Rules.aspx?Name=Variant%20Multiclassing&Category=Pathfinder%20Unchained) might work

A lot of the, ex. Swift Hunter style 3.5 feats were made into their own full classes (Slayer) or archetypes of existing base classes (there's a Bard archetype that gets Sneak Attack, for example)

Prestigious Spellcaster, Arcane Trickster, and Accomplished Sneak Attacker are exactly the kind of thing I'm looking for. VMC is tentatively off the table, but more because the stuff I'm looking at tends to be super feat-hungry already and I'm trying to cherrypick specific features.

Mortal Usher (https://www.aonprd.com/PrestigeClassesDisplay.aspx?ItemName=Mortal%20Ushe r), Esoteric Knight (https://www.aonprd.com/PrestigeClassesDisplay.aspx?ItemName=Esoteric%20Kn ight) and the Evangelist (https://aonprd.com/PrestigeClassesDisplay.aspx?ItemName=Evangelist) prestige classes directly improve existing classes with the former two doing so at every even level, and the last every level except first.

I believe Ascetic Mage fits? Complete Adventurer feat that allows you to stack Sorcerer/Monk levels to determine AC bonus, and use Charisma instead of Wisdom. Plus it lets expend spell slots for bonuses on unarmed attacks.

EDIT: Nevermind, missed the PF tag.

Mortal Usher (https://www.aonprd.com/PrestigeClassesDisplay.aspx?ItemName=Mortal%20Ushe r), Esoteric Knight (https://www.aonprd.com/PrestigeClassesDisplay.aspx?ItemName=Esoteric%20Kn ight) and the Exalted (https://aonprd.com/PrestigeClassesDisplay.aspx?ItemName=Exalted) prestige classes directly improve existing classes with the former two doing so at every even level, and the last every level except first.

That last one should actually be Evangelist (https://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/prestige-classes/other-paizo/e-h/evangelist/)

Well, how did I manage THAT level of a mistake? Must have been off my game. Thanks and I updated the post with the correct link to the nethys archives.

Another PrC which advances all of a previous classes features is Chernasado warden (https://aonprd.com/PrestigeClassesDisplay.aspx?ItemName=Chernasardo%2 0Warden) which does so on its even levels.

Shaping focus (https://aonprd.com/FeatDisplay.aspx?ItemName=Shaping%20Focus) is a feat which lets multiclassed druids keep their wild shape up to scratch. It can result in terrifying octopi.
