For all my fellow software developers/engineers. It looks like DNDBeyond is looking to software engineers hire for remote positions.

NOTE: I don't work for them, but as a developer myself *fingers crossed*

IMO it's more fun to make your own tools than to work on somebody else's. Joining up would just mean you'd be forced to work in Angular or something.

True, you would be forced to code to their standards rather than your own. However, it's a chance to work on something D&D and get paid for it.

Yeah. I'd rather get paid for doing stuff attached to a strong business model, and then work on D&D stuff for fun. That way work stays profitable and fun stuff stays fun, instead of them merging into something neither profitable nor fun.

Thanks for sharing though.

It's never too late to learn. Free training plus 15 million job openings in software alone, millions more for data analysts/financial analysts/graphic designers, etc:

Alternative thinking. Take the job so you can get your foot in the door. Gradually build up your work capability, skills, reputation, etc. so that you can have a say in making of things like 6e 7e etc. Make WOTC great again instead of 4e.( 5e and 3.5e have their merits ).

These jobs are with Fandom, not WotC. Different company.

(You'll probably make more money with these jobs though than Mike Mearls and Jeremy Crawford do, maybe or maybe not more than Ray Winninger.)
