View Full Version : Pathfinder Guide/Builds for a Crafter's Guild?

So, since we ended our latest campaign, I have decided to "retire" my character to the life that he likes most: creating magic items and tinkering with tech!

Basically I want to build Golarion's equivalent of Wheeler, Rawson, and Co. from the Read Dead series.

As such, I would like to ask of how to best optimize such a guild for crafting and enchanting both magic and mundane items. Assume that I have access to a variety of workers, with the most common being mid-level members of the Expert and Wizard classes (I also have access to a number of clerics of Brigh, about 5, each of level 6)

My character, personally, is an 5th-level cleric of Brigh/11th-level wizard, with many crafting feats (including Cooperative Crafting), if that info is needed. My friend's character, a 16th level Rogue, also has a 11th-level Alchemist cohort, built with crafting in mind as well.

What workers (give character builds please) should I employ? What feats should the guildmembers have? What spells should we use? What labor-saving devices should we build?

I suggest setting up in a major hub like Magnimar or Absalom (Sandpoint is a port town, but probably too small... though I hear there's this nice manor for redevolopment outside of it.)

Don't build anything in Cheliax, too likely to be brought under control of the crown.

We are building in Ravounel post Hell's Rebels. Also, could you give more specific tips? Like what should our line workers look like?

Also we also have some (3) Technic League roboticians (Rogue 1/Wizard 8/Technomancer 5) that we picked up as a story event. They were smuggling a robotics lab.

We plan for the business to have different divisions based on the different things they sell (Magic items, alchemy, engines, etc)

Retraining is possible.
