This is a homebrew that combines T20 and D20 3.5.
First there are nine ability scores, they are in order as follows:
Str Strength - modifies melee attacks and modifies damage from those melee attacks.
Dex Dexterity - modifies ranged attacks, modifies reflex saving throws
Con Constitution - modifies hit points when rolled also equals Lifeblood points in most cases, modifies fortitude saving throws.
Int Intelligence - represents ability to figure out stuff
Wis Wisdom - modifies skills involving perception, modifies will saving throws.
Cha Charisma - modifies social interaction skills where social standing isn't important.
Edu Education - reflects a characters knowledge base as opposed to intelligence which is one's ability to figure things out.
Soc Social Standing or Social Class, modifies skills where one's social class plays an important role, for instance, ones ability to gain an audience to see the king.
Psi Psionic Strength - this is the fuel for all magical abilities.

Army - low-tech is replaced by the D&D NPC class Warrior.
Barbarian in Traveller T20 is replaced by all the D&D classes, the D&D barbarian has the rage ability and the Traveller barbarian does not, so we'll just drop the Traveller barbarian.
Belter
Marine - these are space marines, they only come in high tech, if using wet marines use warrior or Army - mid-tech instead.
Mercenary - these come in Mid-Tech and high-tech, for low-tech use fighter instead.
Merchant - these are space merchants, they come in high-tech only, that is they come from a space-faring civilization.
Navy - these are service members of a space-faring navy, for wet navy use Army for Mid-Tech, and Warrior for Low-Tech.
Noble - these are the space going nobility, if low-tech use the aristocrat NPC class instead.
Professional a tech oriented skill class
Rogue - mid to high-tech, similar but not the same as the D&D Rogue, this is the Traveller version.
Scout - high-tech only, for low-tech use ranger.
Traveller - mid to high-tech, a catchall character class for low-tech use commoner.
