Is Book 7 the final chapter?

I'm asking because I'm new here and therefore not really up to date on all of the Word of God coming from Rich so I wanted to know if this was something he officially stated or not before I make a jackass of myself for claiming there's no way this is the final book and that Book 8 is where the series will end.

He did say it would be the last book no matter how big it had to be, if I recall correctly. So I suppose you could argue it will be big enough it could have been split into multiple books if you really wanted to. Not the craziest forum theory around here, to be sure.

That quote is from 2013 and Rich doesn't frequent the forums any more, so I wouldn't say it's 100% guaranteed that is still what he believes.

It is, however, the latest Word of God we have, so I would trust it unless we get something new.

No, it isn't. He wrote last December (https://www.giantitp.com/index.html#2019-12-02) (in other words, just before starting to make strips for Book 7) that Book 7 is the last one. I'd say that's about as definite as possible at this point.
