Can a Tiny Servant survive in a bag of holding? Does the Tiny Servant need to breathe? Let's say I'm an Artificer. I've got a Bag of Holding from an infusion, a spell storing item, and I know the Tiny Servant spell. Can I make a Tiny Servant, give it the SSI, and have it hide in the Bag of Holding until its turn comes around, pop up, use the SSI, and then have it go back into the bag of holding? Can I have it concentrate on a spell without having to worry about it being targeted since it's safe in the bag?

Can I do the same thing with a familiar? A Bag of Holding specifies that one creature can survive for 10 minutes inside the bag, plenty of time to end combat before the bag runs out of air.

As DM, I would allow a tiny creature to stay in there for a much longer time, but it would not work like I think you are intending. I would require you to use an action to open the bag and take them out, or return them to the bag.

Edit: no, the tiny animated servant does not need to breathe.
