Hi,

If a take the vow of nonviolence can I attack an undead creature? I was thinking about taking the vow of peace, it specify that I can hurt undead. I'll play in a modern, zombie infested game and I try to make a character that is good with the living but can hurt undead.

nonviolence feat say I cannot hit humanoid creatures. I was wondering if it include undead or if it as the same exception as vow of peace even if it's not written.

Thanks for the information and have a nice day.

"Humanoid" is a type, which is replaced by "Undead" type when something is made a zombie.

There are many types which can be "humanoid in form", but are not Humanoid type.

As said above, although an undead with a type-changing feat, such as Human Blood or Human Heritage, may force you to break your vow if you don't know it has it.
