Soooo, looked over Pathfinders Dragon Disciple a bit lately, and wondered.

How many Levels do you think would it be worth to simply gain (HD counting so say 1 at 6, 2 at11 and 3 at 15) Form of the Dragon as 1 Hour/per Day SU Ability or SLA?

Where would the Balance point be?

My take so far is that a 5 Level Class is too much, while a 3 Level class is not enough....

Or would it be more or less the Same to gain an actual Dragon Second Form instead (Pathfinders Transformations are after all usually qquite nerfed)?

Say what HD area are we talking about when someones whole Shtick is to transform into say roughly the Same to slightly higher HD Dragon?

For now lets limit it to one type, chosen at starting the "Class".

Discuss.

I’d call it a feat with a trash feat prerequisite for the first form at 6, and another feat per spell improvement. I’d make sure the trash prerequisite was on the Draconic sorcerer bonus feat list.

Reasoning, there is a werebat feat that gives you winged flight in your crinos form. Dragon form is better than that, but not immensely better.
