So if I'm a Long Death Monk, and I reduce a Druid in beast form to 0 hp, knocking them out of their beast form, does Touch of Death activate to give me temp hp?

I mean the ability doesn't seem to actually require death. It just says if you reduce them to 0 hp, literally. So yes? Technically?
