Greetings!

I'm amidst making a level 9 Half-Elf Razmiran Priest Sor (Arcane Bloodline) for a game and was curious what all-day or permanent flying options I had.

I know about flying carpets, brooms of flying, wings of flying (normal and lesser), and finding/buying/controlling/calling/animating flying creatures like Air Elementals or Dragons. I also know about items that cast various spells, like overland flight and mass fly.

Note that other means of transport like teleportation and swimming and burrowing are outside the scope of this question.

Demonic Wings (https://aonprd.com/Corruptions.aspx?ItemName=Demonic)(Corruption), Wicked Wings (https://aonprd.com/MagicDemonicImplants.aspx)(Demonic Implant, 55k), Wings of Darkness (https://aonprd.com/MagicFleshcrafting.aspx)(Fleshcrafting, 36k), Numerian Fluids (https://aonprd.com/Drugs.aspx?ItemName=Numerian%20Fluids) (about a 1/1000 chance: have to roll a 100 on %, then a 5 on d10, 500 gp), Dread Wing (https://aonprd.com/MagicArmorDisplay.aspx?ItemName=Dread%20Wing) Full/Hellknight Plate enchantment +5, Planar Heritage (https://aonprd.com/FeatDisplay.aspx?ItemName=Planar%20Heritage) plus Angel Wings (https://aonprd.com/FeatDisplay.aspx?ItemName=Angel%20Wings)/Wings of Air (https://aonprd.com/FeatDisplay.aspx?ItemName=Wings%20of%20Air), and Magic Trick (https://aonprd.com/FeatDisplay.aspx?ItemName=Magic%20Trick)(Floating Disk) are a few.

Of those, probably Magic Trick would be the easiest, though least useful. Not quite all day, but at 9 hours per cast and a 1st level spell slot it should be fine.

Pheonix (https://aonprd.com/BloodlineDisplay.aspx?ItemName=Phoenix) Bloodline gets unlimited winged flight at level 9. Most other bloodlines that give unlimited flight gives it at 15. You could pick it up with Improved Eldritch Heritage at 11.

Switch from half-elf to any race with a fly speed and a charisma bonus, such as Gathlain.

Nature Soul + Animal Ally feats to gain a giant owl companion, and ride it.

Play any small race, take a flying familiar, and Undersized Mount feat.

If you have some feats you wouldn't mind retraining, there's always the option to go down the "Racial Heritage" feat chain for Aasimar or Kobold to get wings. It only takes three feats for Aasimar, but four for Kobold. I guess it would depend on the kind of wings you'd want and the aspects of the prerequisite feats.

You qualify for Racial Heritage on account of your half-human ancestry.

Edit: Apparently I've been misreading the feat, but as the other guy pointed out, Planar Heritage will get you there.

Numerian Fluids (https://aonprd.com/Drugs.aspx?ItemName=Numerian%20Fluids) (about a 1/1000 chance: have to roll a 100 on %, then a 5 on d10, 500 gp),
It's technically a 2/1000 chance since rolling a 2 on the second table makes you a mutant, and one of the musings you can pick is a pair of wings.

Swap from half-elf to slyph on race if you can.
Two feats.
Gain supernatural fly equal to your ground speed, good maneuverability. No pesky wings or other tell-tales.

Remember to drop those skill points into fly.

Half-Elf is a significant part of this character due to paragon surge and favored class bonus spells known.

Regardless, thankee for this!

Can player characters get Demonic Wings and remain PCs?

Another alternative to Overland Flight exists in Adamantine WingsCM. They grant you wings for hours per level, 60 feet movement rate with good maneuverability without the condition that you can't run while using them. Additionally they be used to make attacks or expended to make a burst of damage. Worth a 7th level spell slot? Not likely, but still worth a mention.

@Mord
Wrong edition for adamantine wings, but thanks!

Handle Animal + Ride + Pegasus...or griffon, hippogryff, dragon, whatever...

Handle Animal + Ride + Pegasus...or griffon, hippogryff, dragon, whatever...

Pegasi and other things of that persuasion (i.e. anything with Int 3+) run with the Diplomacy skill and Leadership feat. The ride skill is a given then (but probably not advisable as it forces concentration checks for the sorcerer spellcasting).

First off, I am glad to have learned of Magic Trick from this thread!

For the OP, I mention it more for reference than because I think it would work, given the extreme difficulty of meeting the prerequisites with the build mentioned, but Elocators ( https://www.d20pfsrd.com/alternative-rule-systems/psionics-unleashed/psionic-prestige-classes/elocater/) have Scorn Earth as a first level feature that lets them fly, albeit slowly.

If you got in via Psion(Nomad) and have the Fast Step feat, the at-will move-action teleport makes the slowness of the flight fairly irrelevant, too.

This is, however, not a priest at that point.

You might be able to reskin the PrC as divine for access from Cleric with your DM’s permission, though.

Note that a Hippogriff (https://www.d20pfsrd.com/bestiary/monster-listings/magical-beasts/hippogriff/) is Int-2, so can be gotten for gold and skill checks only. They're very fragile, though.

You can also do a Heightened (https://www.d20pfsrd.com/feats/metamagic-feats/heighten-spell-metamagic/) Mount (https://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic/all-spells/m/mount/) spell and apply Alter Summoned Monster (https://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic/all-spells/a/alter-summoned-monster/) to the result. Regardless of which control they inherit (either from Summon Monster or Mount), they work well for the purpose, and last 2 hours/level. Dire Bat would be a 3rd level slot, a Giant Wasp or a Pteranodon would be 4th, a Large Air elemental would be 5th. 18 hours of minion-based flight, that you can replace on the go. You can probably do better with the Summon Nature's Ally line, but that's a little iffier on whether or not you really have access.

Half elves count as human and can take their feats. Take the human racial feat Racial Heritage: aasimar. Take the aasimar feats angelic blood, angelic flesh, angel wings.
I don’t recommend this, but it’s a way to do it.

A Feathered Wings Graft (Fiend folio, page 210) only costs 10,000 gp and gives you 2x land speed flight (average).
