I'm trying to find it! I thought I had it bookmarked, but I apparently did not, and boy-HOWDY is it hard to find via the search function!

Basically, it was a post (or might've been multiple) about how badass white dragons actually are, given their environment and all that. It was very well thought out, and I want to use it as a resource.

Is it this post (https://forums.giantitp.com/showsinglepost.php?p=23889929&postcount=10) here?

I meant to bookmark it as well, it was nicely done.

Is this it?

A White Dragon played correctly.

Im not even kidding. First off White Dragons have the highest AC for their CR among the base True Dragons (and its by a few points). Secondly they have 4, count them, 4 movement types (flying, burrowing, swimming, and land) and all of them are 30 or more, so have fun escaping. Thirdly they think less like humanoids than any other base True Dragon. Why? Because they are nothing more than Alpha Predators, and they ACT like it. It also helps that for the first hundred years or so of their life (or however long it takes to get to Huge size) White Dragons are not the top of the heap in their area (usually thats Frost Giants and Remorhazs) once they are Huge however they are now king of the north and you will not argue with them. And lastly while they may not be amazing strategic thinkers they are good tactical thinkers and a perfectly capable of setting basic ambushes, usually by popping out of the ground in front of you and shredding you to pieces.

Oh and most White Dragons dont care about anything you have to say to them, because your lunch, and who listens to their lunch?

I seemed to remember Blackhawk mentioning something about that when it was brought up in the past, and this is what google spat out.

Edit: Okay, looks like there was another far better one. I've failed in my quest. :smalltongue:

And if you bring three of them together, they can fuse into the Ultimate Dragon.

And if you bring three of them together, they can fuse into the Ultimate Dragon.

Only if they have a certain recessive gene.

Non-mainstream music preferences are preferred as well.

...What? I am genuinely confused as to how your post relates to anything else in the thread:smallconfused:

For the three white dragons with recessive genes (and the ultimate dragon you can combine them into), it's preferable that one of them have non mainstream music preferences.

I think they're asking how its related to the rest of the joke.

Uh yeah, I'm just clarifying the joke a bit.

There's been a couple of (https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Blue-Eyes_Alternative_Ultimate_Dragon) modern updates (https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Neo_Blue-Eyes_Ultimate_Dragon) to make it more playable.

Right but what did it have to do with the recessive traits? It just doesn't work with the previous joke.

Because it needs an alternative (https://www.db.yugioh-card.com/yugiohdb/card_search.action?ope=2&cid=12253) dragon to get the full ability.

(Or, to be blunt. Blue-Eyes Alternative Ultimate Dragon can be made with 3 regular Blue-Eyes White Dragons, but gets a whole lot more useful if one of them is Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon.)
