Does Divine Furybadd to weapon damage or is it extra damage like smite?

Weapon damage is damage done by your weapon, not damage done by features.

At a guess; they'd mean Savage Attacker feat.
If it was ruled that Divine Fury's added dice were part of the weapon's damage, then they would be able to re-roll the dice in hopes for a bigger hit.
@OP, that interaction would not work. Divine Fury is extra damage, not weapon damage, and is also radiant/necrotic to further distinguish it from the slashing/piercing/bludgeoning damage of a weapon.
