I’m glad you made a monster. It has interesting abilities: summoning other creatures (apes) and rock throwing. Because it’s based off an ape, I’m not sure rick throwing makes a lot of sense.

It lives in Temperate Forests so where is it getting rocks? Most forests aren’t exactly rocky. Rocks really have no value unless these are special in some way. Are they magical or particularly valuable such as gems? You should note their value in gp. Also Apes and Dire Apes live in Warm Forests. Perhaps this creature should also live in Warm Forests.

What is the the base range it can throw a rock? This could be as low as 20 feet like the spell or as high as 120 feet like the jötunfolk. You need to mention the base range. Unfortunately, Tiny rocks don’t do much damage 1d4+6. That amount should be noted in the creature’s stat block.
