View Full Version : Easy ways to get more uses/day of Faerie Fire as an SLA?

I'm asking for the purposes of using said uses/day (or even at-will usage) of Faerie Fire to fuel the Gift of the Spider Queen feat, from Drow of the Underdark. From what I can tell, the feat just requires you to sacrifice a use of an SLA, not necessarily a RACIAL SLA, so stuff like classes and feats are on the table here.

And yes, I already know about the Master of Shadow feat, from the same book.

Are there any races that get Faerie Fire as an at-will SLA? The feats don't require you to be a drow.

Magic in the Blood is a feat that gives you 3/day spell like abilities rather than 1/day, and Drow Paragon can give you an extra use per day.

If adding Pathfinder to your game is your thing, this spell would be perfect in a wand (https://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic/all-spells/r/recharge-innate-magic).

Technically yes: coure eladrin, from Book of Exalted Deeds. Not exactly the most practical (usually you'd get one as a summon or a familiar rather than dealing with +5 LA), but it exists.

Knight of the Blue Moon 2 gets Faerie Fire as an SLA 3/day. It has pretty steep entry reqs.

Soul Eater 10 lets you double daily uses of SLAs if you inflict a negative level.

Pretty sure Gift of the Spider Queen does require you to be a Drow.

Otherwise, Coure Eladrin gets it as an at will SLA; but has an LA of +5. :smallfrown: [ninja'd, as above]

...you can get one as an Improved Familiar, so if you had one and got some kind of steal SLA ability, that might work.

Depends why you want it as an SLA but intelligent magic items can get faerie fire 3/day cheaply and without somatic components. Also saves on action economy as the item casts the spell.

If being a Ghost from Ghostwalk is OK, then how about the Witchlight feat?

In Magic item Compendium there is a revealing property that gives anything it hits faerie fire for one round.

There is some Drow SLA stuff in this thread that might be of some use to you. (http://minmaxforum.com/index.php?topic=5111)
