[Week 11] Which is the Playground's favorite monster?! (2.0) - Let the fairy dust in!

Welcome to week 11 of us finding out popularity on monsters by direct vote!

You may vote freely for any number of monsters of the selected theme, and at the end of each day for a whole week, we'll see which one was the favoirte 7 days later.
This isn't a competition, just a game, and as a game, everyone is entitled to their opinion of which monster is the best for them, so no arguments please, be good bois. Feel free to say why you love your picks, to help us expand on our viewpoint of that particular creature.
Any vote cast as a reply will be added or counted, so if your monster isn't named yet, vote for it and it will appear and compete~!
Also, whenever your vote isn't statted in D&D 5e rules, it will also be counted as an honorable mention, so don't worry about silly details and keep voting! :smallbiggrin:

Any source in 5e is fine, as there isn't that much to pick from (yet), and for those obscure 3rd parties, just point out where are they located for the sake of reference~

My vote: Fey are an all time favorite, and this time is no different. I'll cast two votes, the Redcap, and the Pixie , I'll also give an honorable mention to the Nymph, which I can't seem to find in 5e sourcebooks. All three of them are great for roleplay encounters, providing interesting challenges that don't automatically include: smash.

I’m voting for the Bheur Hag (VGtM). It works very well as a cold-themed villain for early Tier 2 adventures, and can pack a greater punch than most hags.

First, I am voting for the dryad and the satyr, which I like to imagine as two sides of the same coin. Even on worlds where male dryads and female satyrs exist, they should work well together as spirits of the flora and the fauna. I haven't read MOoT yet.

I have however read GGtR, where the conclave dryad and Trostani are great models for more powerful dryads.

Then I vote for the mini-fey that are the pixie, the quickling (from VGtM) and the sprite.

Finally, I would vote for the unicorn, but it somehow ended up with the celestial type.

Korred Volo's Guide to Monsters p.168

I mean come on, Command Hair for some shenanigans and hijinxs. Plus one of their attack is just chucking some rocks(Which are might powerful, considering). Plus I always seem to have a player that wants to do some sort of magical crafting during downtime. These are my favorite go to, for appropriate CR to gain the 'MacGuffin' magic ingredient they need. They can be bested or befriended too!
