Has anyone seen the new Nike underarmor ripoff commercials? They seem to be everywhere on Comedy Central. They are sending a wierd message if you ask me. The soccer one makes sense. Guy gets hit in face with the soccer ball, the guy who did it has under armor nike clothing. he seems to not care. Competition is serious buisiness.
But it is the running one that gets me. the cold chick who trips on a hurdles bar. It wouldn't be a serious competition with crap in the track. she falls and the nike chick just keeps going. she isnt even listening to music. she is all like " I'm a pretencoius b***h, why didn't you spend money like I did, loser?"
Now these commercials are the same style and work as a set. Is nike selling a product or pretencoiusness? "If you buy are stuff, you will turn into a d-bag"
Nike needs a better US add team.
