Can you believe it's been 17 years?!?!? Next year the strip will be old enough to vote. In the US. You know, if it was a legal citizen.

Many thanks, Rich!

Sad to think that the strip will never be old enough to drink alcohol. :smallfrown:

The Order of the Stick is now legally able to drive a motorcycle in Mauritius. Have a fun vacation!

Not necessarily! The last book went from 2014 to 2019, so this one could reasonably be expected to go to the year 2025. I expect to see MitD emerging in a drunken stupor.

oh, happy birthday OotS !!:smalltongue:
I would draw something silly for it, but I'm currently a sick dog.

Next year (18 years, nothing to sniff at for a project like this), OOTS could officially order a beer here in Europe! Now, whether or not the pubs will be open by then is a whole 'nother question altogether . . .

I also want to draw something for 17 years, but online uni is, uh, draining me something fierce. Maybe something on the weekend?

It's funny to think that, if the comic was running on real time:

Roy would be 46 years old
Haley would be 42 years old
Elan would be 39 years old

Congratulations, you have outlived the Daily Grind Ironman Challenge (which apparently ended last spring).

I think twitter is dead because I can't see anything in there.

Twitter dead? I wish!

The links are working for me.

EDIT: (Apparently Twitter did indeed go down yesterday)

I mean, it's not going to stop aging even when it's no longer being made.

Happy Belated Birthday to the OOTS, sorry I missed it on its real day, seems like as long as I have been online and had internet I have had this comic, I will miss it when it ends.

(wish I knew how to put a birthday cake in here as an icon :smallsigh:)

Wow, to think that this comic has been going on for so long, and it still gets better with every update.

It's easy to draw something for 17 years if your update schedule is long enough. Just call it Solstice Comics and release 2 a year.

Ba-dum tish. I laughed, but I ain't proud of that fact.

I did actually end up drawing a crowdshot for the anniversary, but hosting and then uploading images is not my forte (I'm on round two of Avatar Upload Shenanigans and have just made it teeny-tiny to avoid it getting cropped) so I was unsure if I should go through the song and dance to post it to the arts n crafts thread, because it doesn't seem to be all that busy there. I ended up just posting it on the OOTS subreddit, where people seemed to like it. Should I bite the bullet and just toss it up here?
