Slaying Weapons

Solar Angels have bows that automatically create any type of slaying arrow when drawn. Their description, however, doesn't note that these arrows automatically disappear if they aren't fired.

If a Solar decided to keep this arrow and have it enchanted to be sizing, wouldn't they essentially be usable as slaying spears for creatures of a certain size?

If they had them further enchanted to be morphing, would there be anything truly stopping them from essentially making Slaying swords/axes/hammers?

You could certainly do sizing if you wanted to, but if you're at the level where you have access to solars who are letting you pick through their trash, the monsters you're fighting probably don't care about a dc20 fort save. Unfortunately, arrows of slaying are also unfortunately a specific item, it's not a magic item property like keen you can apply to other things, so turning them into a hammer or sword would probably suppress the slaying effect, like if you morphed a vicious melee weapon into a non-melee weapon.

The Book of Exalted Deeds printed Bow of the Solars as a magic item. I think it's wording may be subtly different.

It's a +2 composite longbow that slays creatures of the wielder's choice, so it's the same. Priced at an unbelievable 101,100gp. A little silly when you can just get one from a summoned solar.
