When you ban a school with incantatrix, are you:
No longer able to cast those spells at all, even the ones youve already scribed in your spellbook or have as a spell known?
Or
Are you simply no longer able to learn spells of that type, but spells already scribed/known are free to use?

From the SRD "Spells of the prohibited school or schools are not available to the wizard, and she can’t even cast such spells from scrolls or fire them from wands."

Incantatrix doesn't specify but I would say that this covers it,. Especially in light of the part I bolded.

The 3.0 Incantatrix (http://archive.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/ex/20010803) in MoF included included verbiage that said you can still cast spells you already knew from that prohibited school prior to becoming an Incantatrix. The more recent 3.5 version in PGtF no longer includes that verbiage, so that's no longer the case. There are still old guides that say to learn plenty of spells from that school before taking Incantatrix because they were written prior to PGtF.
