I'm looking at the Living Breastplate (ECS 299) for a character. but it has no listed cost... Is that found somewhere that I might just be blind in seeing? or does it require simply something like a feat to access? Seems like it'd be a little OP without some kind of associated cost

Magic of Eberron says it's artifact-level item - thus, no gp value

You could probably stat it up as a sentient magical item using custom magic item crafting rules to see what it's approximate cost would be. I remember reading a pathfinder conversion of most of the Eberron stuff a while back that may have priced it or given rules for crafting symbionts. Of course that was a homebrew conversion.

I mean, it would be chronically under-priced, but as a living creature, you could use the Neogi slave-pricing system in LoM.
