What is the AC bonus for this item combo?

Hello all,
I'm in the process of building a 12th level backup chara for our current campaign. I'm making a human paladin "sword and board". I plan on using the appropriate feats for shield bash. I am going to get strongarm bracers (MIC) to use a longsword and shield of large size. I know the ATT and DAM numbers but what will the AC be for a large size heavy steel shield (use for med race)? PH has normal as +2. Yes I know magic enhancements will change it but I want to know the core number.

Changing the size of a shield does not alter the ac bonus it confers.

There is no rule in the phb or anywhere else about larger shields providing a different bonus to AC. Perhaps you are thinking of the size bonus to ac?

Armor and shields made for larger or smaller than Small/Medium creatures don't have any different stats than normal except for the price and weight numbers.

A larger shield would do a bit more damage while using it to bash, but if you're looking for AC you'd be better off with a tower shield that you could refluff.
