Magical Beast Companion?

This feat exists on the SRD (https://www.d20srd.org/srd/epic/feats.htm#magicalBeastCompanion), but I checked the ELH to see if there were some additional monsters left off the list for OGL reasons and I can't find the feat at all. Does anybody know where this feat is from, is it maybe buried in Dragon Mag somewhere?

It was originally Beast Companion in 3.0, but beasts became either magical beasts or animals in 3.5. Also, the animal friendship spell no longer exists, so magical beasts were just added to the animal companions a druid could get.

It's the 3.5 conversion of Beast Companion, found in the 3.5 update booklet here (http://archive.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/dnd/20030718a).

However, there is also a feat in a Dragon to let you tame magical beasts under a Warcraft RPG article.

You could probably use Beastheart Adept as a guide to add some additional options to this feat.

You can also just take a watch spider. It is a magical beast and an animal companion.

Wasn't really looking for general methods to get an AC that is a Magical Beast, was just wondering specifically about this feat cuz I was having trouble finding it. Thanks tho!
