I've just become obsessed with making characters in HeroForge 2 as well. In this thread, I'll skip ones that I'm also posting on my own thread of character builds (https://forums.giantitp.com/showthread.php?617166-Presenting-Lots-of-Character-Builds).

Except one. Because I've actually bought it and await the mini in physical form. Sadly, the character perished in-game on Saturday, so the mini will be in memorium.

I've really liked the colour feature, I've spent a lot of time on designing and colouring all of my many concepts that of course I will never play because foreverdm. But it's been cool. Still not entirely sure how to add pictures to forum posts, so I can't post any just yet, but I will do when I find out how.

I have Maxima (Max) Antius a Romanesc Human PC. Not quite an orphan, but he left his parents house at and early age since they were worthless and abusive (he is actually based on Gavroche from Les Mis) and is a street urchin. He alternates between his short bow, rapier, and duel wielding daggers depending on the situation.

He is an arcane trickster and focuses on illusion magic, and I would love to hear peoples favorites.

This is my boi, S'vissth Kryosol, an undead Thri-Kreen warlock of the Kraken. He's a hollow exoskeleton with only saltwater mist inside. Anyways here's an attempt at my Drow Bard that i've been playing for the past few years in a pathfinder game. I'm not 100% on the colours just yet, i know she looks good in black, but I'm not sure if EVERYTHING she wears should be black. Sadly the ability to have coloured highlights or patterns is... limited. Also her hair and skin are technically the same colour, but it seems to be just different enough to not matter?

If anyone has input, i'll gladly take it!:smalltongue:

Mostly I just differentiated some of the colors a little more to bring out some of the blacks, but here is what I did. I'd be happy to touch it up more if you like or you can use the link and make it more like your own vision (or throw it out completely, it is your PC).

So, what I do to adjust is pick the color you want to mess with by going to Color -> Mix. Then hold alt and click on the color you want to change. Then in the color menu it says "color" and then has a gradient color next to it, if you click on the color gradient you will get high, medium, and low. This will help you make the minor adjustments you need to different parts of the skin. I actually find that doing this is what makes the most distinctive characters and looks. You can use it to give a worn look to clothing and many other things.

I didn't know Heroforge did colour. That really helps me out on getting decent images to represent character archetypes for settings, because I can't draw to save my life and most 'create a portrait' programs give male physiques that I don't like.

So here's my first go with it, buying put off until I have 1) sufficient disposable income and 2) a RL game. A 'working wizard' of both genders, or a spellcaster who contracts out their services. The look is meant to be much more 'Victorian' than standard D&D.

Apologies on the somewhat poor colour on them, still getting to grips with it and was trying to go for bright colours over dull browns and greys.Both are intended as generic NPC figures, they're for when I need a random wizard who isn't a noble or established character (I'm also going to be preparing some guards and workmen under the same idea, although those I might just buy and paint if I find decent looking ones).

Oeh so nice to see everybodies charachters. I love how this opens up the tools for people who are not so artistically inclined :D.
My PC's

My own Amiri of the six bears tribe (loosely based on the pathfinder charachter). The barbarian8 fighter4 turned wizard3 when she found a headband of intellect, becoming a palladin4 when the need to restore the memory of her tribe arose. She now has a +3 greataxe as well as a staff of the magi as I am the only arcane caster in the party. She is a blast and is soo powerfull :D

Pega, the Oread sorcadin2/2. With just 3 of us playing the Odysee of the dragonlords campaign (intended for 6) we have no choice but to optimize to a hearts content :D. With Cha to attack, 4 short rest recharge spells (thunderous smite/divine shield/huntersmark/misty step), and a standard AC of 20, a force to be reckoned with

Finally Flare. A fire genasi, alchemist pyromaniac gunslinger, carrying his grandfather the Efreeti Conflagiration in his lamp with him. (not DnD, but a fantasy version of vampire the masquarade).

getting the hair a nice fiery color was actually quite hard. I think I had to pick a "Cloth" color to get this coloring.

Esuna's pretty straightforward. Obviously had to make some changes in terms of her dress pattern. I also wanted her to have the ice crystals, hence why her palms are forward and not up.

Valsu, I'm least happy with. The shapes on the bottom of his robes are all wrong. I can't get a satisfactory arrangement of white and green. At least not without the more advanced customization tools in the paid package.

Lux's construction doesn't really translate into HeroForge terribly well. His unusual shoulders and hips can't really be reproduced. Otherwise, the space marine suit does a good job. Also, glowing visor eyes are fun. Not sure if his chassis is too shiny. I dunno.

Given the woodland theme and the sicles I could see a druid or ranger as well. Maybe the Fey ranger from the UA to capture the fairy tale feel, favoured enemy beasts, duel wielding fighting style?

That's solid, changing out the ghost familiar for a woodland type familiar and that is just about perfect.
