I have 3 races I plan to use in an upcoming Hexcrawl, and I wanted to post them here and see if anything seemed unbalanced. Yes, one of them is basically a reflavored Tortle with one ability swap.

All three are on Google Drive since that's where I wrote them. They don't all have lore bits yet, I'm mostly working on their mechanics currently.

Cercids:
Essentially Roachfolk, the result of divine accident that once lived their lives under the feet of the gods, in a position somewhere between supplicants and vermin. They are hardy and clever survivors.

Formics:
Antfolk. Very strong, lean into the tropical locale by being brightly colored and having a very scary screaming sound they can produce. (Look up the Aztec Death Whistle for an idea of what sound this neon-colored, 7-foot-tall ant would make while flashing its colors and rushing you down.)

Pangol:
Pangolin-folk. Basically a remixed Tortle with a long tongue.

Let me know if there's anything particularly dumb I'm doing, and if there's any ideas for how to make Formics more... interesting, I guess? I feel like they're falling a bit flat.
