Ever had your party walk through a museum, art gallery, or trophy room and ask to look at some of the exhibits? There's the skeleton of something or other, maybe a big pot with drawings on the side?

This thread is inspired directly by Lord Torath's on magical books to stock your fantastic bookcases with, but for, you know, everything other than books.

A glass case containing Schroedinger's Opossum...is it dead, or just playing dead?

A rediculously complicated mechanism crafted of cold iron, in which is situated a glass of pure spring water, in which is the tooth of a small child...

A jar containing a small brain connected to a pair of eyes, which close examination reveals to be slitted like a cats...it ignores you...

A granite plinth, surrounded by an adamantine cage, rune warded, and trapped to high heaven...on which is a small wind-up mouse...

A gelatinous cube sits calmly within a 10' x 10' x 10' glass enclosure, while a skeleton in eldritch armour slowly tries over and over to escape from inside it...

An ancient monolith, carved with time weathered runes whose meaning has been lost since time immemorial...but touching it on the winter solstice will permanently engrave into the mind and memory knowldge of a cantrip that causes flatulence in the target...

A 52 card deck, with an infinite number of suits...it radiates no magic...

8) A Penrose triangle.

9) A talking skull named Murray. He claims to have been a pirate.

10) A skeletal arm wielding a sable. It's in close proximity of Murray, and he claims it's his arm. He gets very angry when anybody approaches the arm.

11) A wood trophy board to which a bass is attached. When somebody draws close, he starts singing.

12) A chessboard. While it's mostly regular, the four innermost squares are purple, rather than black and white (or avorium and brown, if you prefer). There are no pieces.

13) A round mirror. It's mostly nondescript, almost just a round shiny surface, but if someone stares enough into it, they will notice that it is, in fact, just a regular mirror. For some reason, though, it radiates a strong Necromancy aura, but it's just a mirror.

14) A geode. Its color changes depending on the time of day.

15) A Samsung Galaxy Note II. Its battery, unfortunately, is drained.

16) An orrery. The planetary system it shows is different from the one the players live in.

17) A gold-plated colander encrusted with gems.

18) A huge feather. It is colored in vibrant and beautiful hues.

19) A gem carved in the shape of a scarab. It radiates an Illusion aura.

20) A lit tobacco pipe. It never goes out, and sometimes it seems as if "something" invisible is puffing from it. The pipe is not magical, though, it is a very cleverly designed mechanical contraption that uses chemicals to produce the smoke, and a mechanical bellows to "puff" it.

21) A faded picture of a grassy knoll. It was clearly not painted, but rather etched on the surface of a weird, glossy piece of paper. Scribbled on the bottom of the paper, there are three numbers, 11-22-1963.

22) A gold medal. There is a sword embossed on its surface.
