Avernus

Hi everyone,
I need ideas (clever and cheesy) for descent into Avernus.

At character creation, you need to decide on fears the character have.

My players chose :
- Fire (easy to use)
- Being alone (quite easy also)
- Being laughed at (that one gonna be funny)
- Necrophobia (slightly easy, there'll be some Mickeal Jackson going on there :P)


But those i need more help with are :
- Aquaphobia
I was thinking of using the demon that put his life in question a little earlier and make him sing "cry me a river" but beside that, not sure.
- Pogonophobia... fear of beards
Well, bearded devil are an obvious choice, but they'll grow boring quickly, need ideas here.

The Styx is pretty much aquaphobia-fuel, although it isn't typical water.

The mission where you use the submarine device to go below the Styx's surface is that up to eleven.
