Can Dispel Magic destroy a Simulacrum?

Seems simple but sometimes Simulacrum questions have no RAW answer. Lets say I have a Simulacrum of our party Wizard and he is for some reason unhappy with it, can he destroy the Simulacrum by casting Dispel Magic on it?

Given that the listed duration of the Simulacrum spell is "until dispelled", I'm pretty certain the RAW answer is yes.

Might be more satisfying to destroy it the old-fashioned way though, depending on who it's a simulacrum of.

I had a party that did this on accident because they didn't know they were talking to a simulacrum. They just noticed the magical aura and thought they were helping.
