Unarmed strike has become the discussion of many wordplay issues within D&D 5e. I often wonder if it would have been better to leave it on the weapons table and simply give it an additional property.
Natural
A natural weapon cannot be enchanted with magic.
-a natural weapon can I become a magical weapon.
-A natural weapon cannot be targeted by spell that magically enchants a weapons.
With us if it moves the overpowered-ness that many spells and magic weapons could create. While opening up the door for additional levels of player customization.
At least that’s my two cents.
