haste and gloom stalker interaction

if you are hasted for the first round of combat, which allows you to take an additional attack action, one attack only, and you have dread ambusher, where in the first round of combat when you take an attack action you get an extra attack, does that mean the haste is two attacks? personally, i think 1, but i am not sure

Dread ambush is once per action and by my reading of haste it is limited to one attack period. so other effects won't grant increase past that single attack. Add action surge on in the other hand allows for a whole new action which will allow an additional dread ambush attack.

Should just be 1. Keep in mind though that the cool thing about Gloomstalker is that you get this pseudo haste on first turn. You generally won't have haste on going into combat.
