I'm working on a sword-and-gun character, a little bit along the lines of the Hunter from Bloodborne, and I'm wondering if there's a good build for making this kind of character effective. Looking at the Renegade fighter subclass from the Dark Tides of Bilgewater book and its Blade and Black Powder option, but I'm not seeing it discussed in any guides or handbooks. Is it any good? Are there better ways to build such a character?
