Would you allow a large dancing item(say, a dance floor) fly the party? It has a fly speed of 30 ft and 18 STR.
Anyway I find the creation bard great, with both song of creation and animating performance having lot's of creative uses beyond combat(though they are great there too).
They can be used multiple times per day via spellslots.
Need a wall? Creat one. Need stairs? you got it. A boat, a door, and the list can go on and on...Need flying staris? Also there. All of those at level 6.
Mote of potential is also a neat little ribbon.
