Hello fellow people.

I am currently running a home-made campaign and soon enough my party will travel to a continent solely inhabited my undead. I fondly remember that there were some rules (either 3.5 or pathfinder) for the undead corruption in the land and penalties they impose according to how long it has been corrupted infected, like a town that is reeking with zombies for a couple of weeks to a full-on necropolis, but I am unable to find it anywhere. Anyone knows where I can find such (or similar) rules, or was it just a false memory of mine?

Is it connected to Taint (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/variant/campaigns/taint.htm)?

Out of curiosity, without any living people on the continent, how do the undead repopulate if any of them are destroyed?

I seem to recall hearing that there are rules like that in Libris Mortis, though I haven't read that book, so I don't know for sure.

Try Heroes of Horror. It has corruption rules that sound a bit like what you're looking for.

The BoVD rules on "Lingering Evil" (p.35) make mention of undead a few times...

Libris Mortis, page 12, sidebar "Variant Rule: Undead Density".

Thank you very much everyone, I will take a look into your suggestions and bring something together :D

Effectively, a lich has been manipulating kingdoms in ongoing wars to get fresh undead population.
