For a few weeks now, I've been planning a comic dub for The Order of the Stick. Of course, I can't really go through with it without Burlew's permission. Is there a good way to reach out to him to ask? If he says no, I'll just have to respect his decision. I would also like to note that the dub would not be monetized.

He's spoken before and unless he's changed his position, you cannot modify the images, so you cannot change the text on the image. It comes up usually for translations, which you can translate the transcript but can't put it back into the comic.

I'll try to find a direct quote. But that's the main thing _I'm_ aware of. So if you do a thing to reflow it for the dub you'd possibly run afoul of that.

It is a copyrighted work, and ultimately I'm not sure dub falls in the category of fair use. You could try reaching out to him on Twitter.

I know so many people that would enjoy this comic so much if only it was written in Italian and not in English.... Lucky me that can speak English :P

Another note, I'm referring to a voice acting project, not a language translation, apologies if I wasn't clear.

I meant dub as in voice acting the original text, not a translation. I should have been more specific
