I was wondering: What do you think was the best campaign setting pubblished for 5e up until now? I've been wanting to read some new settings to get an idea on what i should master next, but i find it very difficult to find a... list of avaible 5e campaign settings?

For campaign setting i mean something like Primeval thule, Mists of Akuma and the well known setting of Midgar from Kobold Press.

Note: For Campaign settings i'm intending mainly homebrews one, stuff like "eberron" or "forgotten realms" don't really fit this bill, ok? ;D

I think kobold press and critical roll have the best settings at least in the sense of support, ie books and content

I'll point you in the direction of the Homebrew Compendium (https://forums.giantitp.com/showthread.php?481588-D-amp-D-5e-Homebrew-Compendium-2) for some homebrew campaign settings. The section you'd be interested isn't particularly long, so I've also pasted it here.

Bright Moon, Dark Woods, Pearl of Dark Flow, and Yakkaida are the most complete of the bunch.

Midgard is great. Check out the Kobold Press blog series "So You Wanna Adventure in Midgard?" Good stuff. I am also a big fan of Ravnica and Theros as settings, too.

I understand you're looking for homebrew / 3rd party stuff, but just in case you haven't looked at it closely before, Eberron is a pretty great setting with a lot of interesting stuff going on and room for pretty much any 5e content & campaign styles while still maintaining a coherent pulp adventure identity of its own. While the first party WotC published 'Rising from the Last War' book is great and a perfect place to start for DMs new to the setting, the overwhelming majority of the Eberron content in 5e has been in the form of homebrew and 3rd party materials produced by or with the settings original creator Keith Baker, both in bespoke publications sold through the DMs guild like Exploring Eberron or Morgrave Miscellany and in regular and freely accessible long posts & discussions on Mr. Baker's blog.

So if you're looking for a setting that combines the vision, passion, depth, and coherent authorial voice that comes from an independent creator-driven 3rd party setting with the scope and polish of first party content, and you've previously dismissed Eberron as either a shallow & generic WotC offering or a legacy setting without much in the way of active and ongoing support in 5e, it's certainly worth giving it a second look.
