Hey people, basicly I need a ton of ideas for dungeons.

Heres the deal; a incurable "illness" has spread across the world.
People can barely sleep, if they do at all they wake suddenly from terrible nightmares. Many more just aren't waking, just lay screaming and kicking.
The Queen of All Night's Dream, a goddess, has been kidnapped by the Mother of Hags and she's taken the realm for her own and magicly bound the people of it to her.
The heroes, living legends by now, have cast a great spell to enter the land of dreaming. They must defeat guardians of keys to the Queen's Castle to free her.

My ideas for dungeons so far:
The Tideless Sea - Under a great sheet of ice is a sea where the wind never blows. The ruler of this dungeons is called the Withered Tyrant, he is a collosal skeleton that rest at the bottom of the sea. Under the waves live mermaids that look like deep sea fish, glowing skin, barbs, huge jaws ect.

Palace of Echoes and Mirrors - Ruled by the Glass Princess, a childish and spoiled elven-like woman. A place full of reflecting light, shimmering ponds and floors made of coloured glass...which is great when the party looks up and sees the "royal harpy warband" have been watching them for a hour. An army of acrobatic people lead by a cunning toad-faced king, the husband of the Princess, hound the heroes.

Clockwork City - The city itself is full of wooden gears, tin springs and many moving parts. However the people that inhabit it are puppets, creepy giant dolls and nutcracker soldiers. The leader of this land is dead, "Punch" a creation of the Hag now rules with a iron fist (he really has a iron fist). The natural inhabitance of the city are extremely lawful little brownie that are in a way, insane, they count all day and file everything.

Warmth in Darkness - Based on dreams were you run, dreams of hunger, dreams of under-the-bed things. Warmed in Darkness is pitch black forest and full of monsters that represent primal needs like lust, anger and sleep. The heroes become more like the monsters the longer they are here. Even more frightful, some of the boulders and trees seem to have human faces, dare you talk to them?

Ok, any ideas?

I'd like to suggest doing something with troglodytes in the Palace of Echoes and Mirrors. I seem to recall that their god was a load-like entity which sort of ties in with the form of the princess's husband. Aside from that...

Gargantuan Wild: not overly bizarre, but the only natural inhabitants are intelligent animals and the heroes are about half the size of mice in comparison to everything else. The villain could be a major predator, even a dinosaur if you like.

Dreamscape of Clouded Mists: The world is a landscape of tangible, semi-solid clouds and there are springs of magic which spring from the night sky or the sun. Their effects are diverse, difficult or impossible to predict, and extremely potent, for better or worse. Shadows stalk the clouds at night, fallen (?) angels during the day.

Troglodytes revere Laogzhed, a toad like deity of slime. For added fun, you could have them led by The High Priest Not To Be Described, a mad toad creature in yellow rags with a face mask and a flute, surrounded by six altars on the sixth step down from his throne.

Mind Prison:PCs must make it through an elaborate series of mazes and puzzles ultimately ruled by an insane Jester who refers to himself as the Mastermind. Anytime you die you find yourself wake up on somewhere else in the dungeon. The tasks themselves are of no consequence and only lead to more tasks. Your progress through the dungeon is solely the perverse amusement of the Mastermind. You must realize the entire dungeon is a charade and you must kill yourself repetitively or deliberately fail the challenges to finally confront the Mastermind. When you defeat him, he is cast back into his own dungeon to be forever trapped in his games as you are cast out to never play again.

The End of the World: Call it classic or call it cliche, but you must sail from bizarre island to bizarre island to reach the edge of the world. You either find a giant waterfall or get close enough to the sun to interact. Whether it is a fire or water Elemental, Wierd, or Outsider that you find, you must either defeat it or convince it that you are worthy of the key based on your experience in travel.

Into the belly of the beast: You enter a dungeon which is a gargantuan (not the size, just the idea. Consider it a colossal ++ critter) shapeshifter, with the powerful ability of creating minor creatures (note: minor means less powerful than it is. This includes tarrasques and Kobolds, for example.) out of nowhere, and magic items too. The shapeshifter is also terrfyingly intelligent, and hails from the Far Realm. It delights on torturing those who enter it for years on end before killing them, and the PC's are trapped...unless they can find a way to inflict permanent, major damage to this terrible creature.
