Looking for a class equivalent

Im looking for a class thats in 2nd ed and if it has an equivalent in 3.5 and/or Pathfinder.

The 2nd ed class is called Beast Rider, from The Complete Fighters Handbook

There's the vermin tamer (https://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/base-classes/cavalier/archetypes/paizo-cavalier-archetypes/vermin-tamer-cavalier-archetype/) archetype if you'd rather ride a giant spider or something.

There's the Summoner archetype Monster Knight (https://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/base-classes/summoner/archetypes/summoner-archetypes-legendary-games/monster-knight/).

A drake warden (https://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/ranger/archetypes/paizo-ranger-archetypes/drake-warden-ranger-archetype/) Ranger, of course only drakes there.

The dragonrider (https://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/3rd-party-classes/rogue-genius-games/dragonrider/) but of course only for dragons.
