Problem is, the last episode of Season 3 may have been BSG jumping the shark.

I hope not....but.....

Decent, but nowhere near the best show ever IMHO, a title that belongs to Firefly, closely followed by Babylon 5.

Hmm... having seen only series 1+2, I'd rate it as just below b5 due to the astonishing amount of planning that went into b5

I loved the ideas and the scope of B5, but the dialogue, as I recall, could be a bit purple. So I would give a slight edge to BSG, although I wouldn't proclaim it the best ever.

Also, to the best of my knowledge, B5 never featured sex with a robot- let alone sex with a robot that was in somebody's mind.

That's just weird.

it is a great show... and could very well be the greatest show ever.

but how do we rate greatest show ever? should it be that when its over we feel as if weve had our hearts ripped out and demand more until those around us beg for the sweet release of death?

in that case firefly was the greatest show ever. so... bring back firefly already.

in the absence of the 'verse, ill take some hard core toaster frackin' any old day. and it just may end up the greatest... the next/final season is the clincher.

Loved first season, and the first half of season two. Then it started to decline, but it is still quite a good show, and the end of season three was awesome, especially with the zoom-out. :smallsmile:

Have you seen B5? That is truly how space combat should be done IMHO. Capital ships that actually do something and the Starfury's design looks like it was actually designed to be flown in space. The BSG Vipers just looked like the designers wanted jet fighters in space...

I was beat to it, but yeah. BSG cannot take the spot of best show ever, as that is held by Firefly.

BSG is indeed totally awesome however. Stupid year long wait :smallfurious:
