CRAWLING EYE
Lesser; 3rd
One of your eyes leaves your head and sprouts spidery legs. You can see through the eye no matter where it goes, so you can use it to scout or spy. The eye can’t crawl of its own volition, but you can direct it to move or climb up to 20 feet as a move action. Its Climb modifier is equal to your warlock level +8. You can direct a crawling eye in your space to climb back into your eye socket as a move action.
When you use this invocation, your current and full normal hit point totals are reduced by 2 for as long as the eye is detached. The eye is considered a Fine creature with AC 20 and 2 hit points. Its Hide and Move Silently modifiers are equal to your warlock level.
For all other purposes, its statistics are equal to yours. You can’t cast most invocations or spells through the eye, but any spells or invocations that affect your sense of sight—such as devil’s sight, all-seeing eyes, or detect magic— function through the eye as though it was still attached.
If your crawling eye is destroyed, you are dazzled for 1d4 hours, during which time the eye regrows. (If you normally have only one eye, you are blinded instead). At the end of this period, you regain the 2 lost hit points, and the dazzled condition ends.
Only one of your eyes can be used for crawling eye at any time; if your crawling eye is destroyed, you can’t use this invocation again until your eye regrows.

It's from "Complete Mage" according to the site I pulled it off of:

How long does this effect last? Minutes? Hours? As long as you want? Can YOU do anything while it's "out"?
"The eye can’t crawl of its own volition, but you can direct it to move or climb up to 20 feet as a move action." I'm guessing you can act normally (without one eye) if you don't concentrate on the eye?

I did a little research into this for the e6 warlock competition. Invocations last 24 hours typically, although the crawling eye doesn’t seem to have that duration. So either it defaults to 24 hours or it last til you put the eye away or it dies.

Yes you can do stuff normally while the eye is out. You sacrifice a move action to make the eye move, so it’s a sacrifice during combat.

One way to get around that is to make a tiny saddle and give your eyeball a mount and have it use your ranks in ride. Because then the eye would move on its mount’s action.

You can combine it with disembodied hand (tie a leg to the hand) to go on scouting missions, use them for assassinations, etc. The eye gives you line of sight and the hand lets you cast your invocations (not disallowed and explicitly lets you use it in all ways as if still attached). You can also use them to bypass the range of flee the scene. Use a ring of regeneration to get a third hand and eye. You can also instantly regrow your hand and eye if they are destroyed by spending a standard action to dismiss the invocation because they are magical effects. Anti magic zones don't disable them, they immediately return to your body. They also can't be dispelled because there is no target for the ability. This is all RAW and not necessarily what your table would allow.
