The Players return to the village to speak with the village Elder, but when they arrive they learn that while they were out, the village elder went on a routine hunt and fell down a ravine in the hillside. The other villagers out on the hunt couldn't find him and returned to gather a group to search. 30 Men are going out to search for him and they will be approached by a friendly NPC who will ask if they'll help, knowing they can use all the help they can get.
And after that I lost inspiration and couldn't decide on what finds him in the woods. Where he goes when he wakes up. What happens if the PC's decide not to go help.
I was thinking it would be useful to have a way of quickly and easily coming up with an in-between adventure for when the PC's return to Collect a reward or give the news of what they've done. I decided to write up a document for the "NPC Has Gone Missing".
I wrote a lot of options. I plan to put percentage's to the table to provide the option of randomization. But before I made the final product I thought I'd ask if anyone would like to put in some input on further options. Anything given is appreciated.
