Hey is there a way to do a Mind Switch True on a higher HD monster.. So how can a 18th lvl psion be able to do a Mind Switch True with a 30 HD monster. What would be the work around for this.

What would be the work around for this.Either boost your manifester level or inflict negative levels on the target. Either way works, and you can even do both of those things simultaneously.

You could maybe also Dominate the creature and force it to use an item of True Mind Switch. Then you'd be the target and the monster's hit dice wouldn't matter.

Note: Mind Transfer spell (Call of Cthulhu d20) works like True Mind Switch, but have no HD limit at all: if enemy isn't protected by immunity, by SR, and fails their save - then HD is irrelevant. According to the official WotC conversion, this spell is Evocation [Mind-Affecting] Sorcerer/Wizard 5
