Hi all,
I'm making a homebrew creature (for the homebrew forum) that is diminutive but fights with an (appropriately sized) longspear. Most tiny and smaller creatures seem to have reach of 0' (and there's no reason to give these guys a longer natural reach), and since a reach weapon doubles your reach, well...2x0 = 0.
Is this appropriate? Is there any precedent for the very small using reach weapons? Do they get any advantage at all from doing so?
