One of the best things about playing a stealthy character with teleportation is that you can get in and out of places without leaving any trace - so long as you can see your destination(s).

Shadow Monk only limits this based on lighting. Soulknife limits both the number of uses and the distance based on the Psi Dice... but are those the only limitation?

...throw the [psychic] blade at an unoccupied space you can see, up to a number of feet away equal to 10 times the number rolled. You then teleport to that space, and the blade vanishes.
- TCE pg. 63

It specifies you must throw a psychic blade to reach your desired destination. Since it's a psychic blade, is it blocked by physical objects? Does it need to be able to fit through the shutters you're peering through? Can it go through glass to reach the unoccupied space that you see?

Idk, it all depends on whether the "blade of psychic energy that leaves no mark on its target" is physical enough to interact with objects, or just passes right through....

I'd say that everything seems to point to the fact that the daggers are incorporeal, and the requirement of sight covers 90% of most concerns in this regard, that the 10% chance of seeing through an obstacle you want to teleport through are rare enough not to make a big deal of them.

It costs a resource and the distance is random, so it's not like it's game-breaking in the best-case scenario.

Since objects are immune to psychic damage, I'd rule that as long as you can see the target you're aiming for, the blade would pass harmlessly through any obstacles in the way.

The same is true for doors or walls, but since you can't see through them (normally, at least), you'd have no way of knowing where the blade ended. I'd then rule it stopped die x 10' from where you are, and you teleport there. Good luck!
